USATF New England Grand Prix

The Wicked Running Club participates in the USA Track & Field New England Road Racing Grand Prix.  This is a series of races ranging from the 5K to the marathon that attracts virtually every club in the New England association.  Races are selected in the winter and usually last from February through November.  Grand Prix races serve as the New England road racing championship at each distance. The Wicked Running Club representative is Jonah Hulburt.

Reimbursement Incentive

In order to help increase participation at the regional level with the USATF-NE Grand Prix, the club instituted a reimbursement incentive program. Up to five (5) runners will be selected from each USATF-NE Grand Prix series race to have their race entry fee reimbursed.  In order to be eligible for this incentive, runners must:

  • be an active Wicked member at the time of the race;
  • you must be an Individual USATF member (the Club is already a member of USATF, but an Individual membership must be purchased separately – $30 annual fee);
  • sport your Wicked gear and run affiliated with the Wicked Running Club;
  • complete the USATF-NE Grand Prix series race

All skills and abilities are encouraged to participate in this great regional running program, which will continue for the 2017 USATF-NE Grand Prix (race details below). This really is a great incentive offered by the Club, and a great way to get involved with the USATF and represent the Wicked Running Club at USATF races.
