Miles Over the Moon - 2020 race cancelledAnnual Miles Over the Moon 4 mile Road Race - A “Midsummer Night” Run
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the leadership of Wicked Running Club has made the difficult decision to cancel Miles Over The Moon for this year. While we are all disappointed, we do not believe we can meet our obligations to hold a successful and safe event given the circumstances. Thank you for your interest and support of MOTM, we hope to return in 2021 to hold the 10th running of this great twilight event. Registered runners will receive refunds of their entry fees.
That being said, we would like the entire North Shore Running Community to know that WRC has taken on a new mission in these challenging times. We are actively promoting our message of fitness, personal accountability and community by holding a series of virtual events. You are all welcome and encouraged to join us! Please subscribe to our Facebook pages for information on these events. It is our desire to recognize MOTM 2020 virtually in July as part of this series.
In addition, for club members we continue our benefits of remote workouts by our award-winning club coach, Fernando Braz. If you are interested in learning more about this or WRC, please don’t hesitate to contact our membership director Sandi Dalton at WickedMembership@gmail.com.
Once again, thank you for your support of MOTM.
We want to remind all runners about the following:
- Please wear bright, reflective clothing on race night.
- The streets will NOT be closed for the race. There will be helpful officers and friendly volunteers along the course, but please mind traffic.
- Have fun out there and thank you to all for running and volunteering!
All proceeds to support the Wicked Running Club Youth Running Fund. This fund supports annual donations to local high school track programs and the family-friendly Wicked Kidz race.
