About the Race

Location

Race start is on Pleasant Street. Registration is at Knights of Columbus located at 94 Washington Square, near the Salem Common, 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm.

Parking

Public parking lots and on street parking

Entry fee

Pre-registration is $25.00
Day of race will be $30.00

Awards

Trophies for overall 1st place male and female winners. Age group medals for top 3 male and females: under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Results to be posted on coolrunning.com.

Race T-shirt

A fabulous race needs a fabulous shirt! The first 400 registered runners will receive a short sleeve shirt from Brooks. (sizes cannot be guaranteed)

Post-race

Post race food and water provided. After-party at the Knights of Columbus by the Salem Common on Washington Square East, Salem MA. Thanks to Jimmy John’s of Salem for sponsoring post run refreshments.

Race timing

Race will be Professionally Chip Timed by North Shore Timing Co. Using the MyLaps Bib Tag System

Runners Safety: Because this is a night time race we encourage all runners to wear reflective clothing. The course is not closed off to traffic and we want everyone to have a fun and safe time.

2016 Course Details

Start

The course is a flat, fast wheel-measured four-mile course and takes two loops around Salem Common. The first loop is on the pave road outside the common; the second loop is clockwise around the inside of the common.

Helpful volunteers will be on the course directing your way. Have a great race!
